Babulal Sethia is a retired Congenital Heart Surgeon and a past-President of the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) where he helped to develop a programme in Global Health. He has worked with international charities to promote healthcare education and the delivery of congenital heart services for the benefit of children living in resource-poor countries. He has contributed to over 60 peer-reviewed publications, has given over 150 presentations at National and International meetings and co-edited, with Professor Parveen Kumar, a book entitled ‘Essentials of Global Health’ (Elsevier 2018).
